I had the most enjoyable weekend workshop. I had no expectations and was thrilled with the instructor, the pace of her input and the time she allowed us to put our new skills into practise. I learnt so many techniques, previously unknown and I would love to be able to attend another workshop.
I really loved this workshop! I got lots of information, learnt lots of skills and had a really good time exploring what I can do on my art journal. Amazing way to spend a weekend full of fun, support and lovely vibes between the ppl as well. Highly recommend for anyone who is keen to experiment visual arts.
What a wonderful course led by an inspiring teacher! Julie Moselen is amazing! She gave us plenty of information and support in a very relaxed friendly way. As a complete novice in anything remotely 'arty', I felt very comfortable working at my (beginners) pace and trying out basic techniques that Julie gave us, and I also enjoyed seeing other more experienced people in the class working at more advanced techniques. The two day workshop just flew by and I enjoyed it all. I am planning to buy some materials and keep working on my new skills. And next time I see a course run by Julie, I will be at the front of the queue to attend :) We are so lucky to have such a wonderful venue like Corbans out in West Auckland supporting local artists - and helping bring the community together.
