I loved Katie Smith's course, Textiles - A Journey in Print Design. I was a novice and her course opened up the world of printing to me by emphasizing in equal proportion all that goes into making a print. We began each day with a short talk introducing, for example, Design Principles, Colour Theory, and Mood Boards. The rest of each day was devoted to hands-on art. Katie roamed the art rooms giving each student individual advice which for me, a novice, was especially motivational pushing me beyond the fear I had arrived with and seemed to leave me frozen at first. For that I am grateful. Katie's course is a real education in what goes into making a work of art and it is truly rewarding. I highly recommend her course.
