The Corban Estate Arts Centre's 'Pounamu Marama Pendant Workshop', was an edifying and uplifting experience for my teenage daughter. It gave her a blessed injection of renewed creativity, confidence and connection to her Maori heritage.
Grateful thanks to All.
What a great day !
Maha our tutor is certainly a gem, as is his assistant.
His Mana and sincere love 💖 in what he’s doing is a gift which he shares in a way only he could do.
It was a privilege to be a part of the team learning this weekend .
The course was about Pounamu but we were all treated to an introduction of culture with a Maori perspective.
Thank you .. when’s the next course .. I’m a starter.

I really enjoyed my day leaning to make a pounamu marama. The day was structured well and paced perfectly. I enjoyed learning about the tikanga and I loved what I was able to create. Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity Maha and Toriwai, your facilitation was excellent.
