Students will become more experienced with the qualities of watercolour as they enter the lair of this mythical creature. Our understanding of new techniques and skills will be enhanced through step-by-step demonstrations with plenty of individual attention. Different brush types will be used on quality paper, to create a series of small-scale imaginative depictions of dragons and all their wild features.

The Corban Estate Arts Centre is located in Henderson, West Auckland.

We’re home to artist studios, our very own cafe, art classes for adults, youth and children, and an ever-changing programme of exhibitions and events.

Set within park-like grounds amongst historic winery buildings. Open Monday to Saturday, entry is free, everybody’s welcome.

Kids came home buzzing about what they'd been able to create and the new skills they'd learned! Super engaging process and the art work is set to take pride of place on bedroom walls!

My 8 year old son loved this class, he came away with an artwork that was rally thoughtful and unique. I liked that he was encouraged to create his own unique dragon, the class wasn't all creating a cookie cutter version of the same thing.

  • A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking.
  • Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
  • Cancellation by participant up until 7 days before the workshop commences results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant within 7 days of the workshop commencement date results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 30% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given.

  • A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking. Part Payment options are available at time of booking.
  • Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
  • Cancellation by participant up until 10 days before the workshop commences results in a full refund of amount paid MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant within 10 days or on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given. You may nominate someone else to take your place before the class starts.
