Over 6 weeks, local graffiti artist Rekso will share his knowledge and experience on graffiti basics for creating original outdoor artworks.

While the art of graffiti writing constantly evolves, we'll be starting with the basics and will be introduced to the work of our own graffiti leaders here in Aotearoa and around the world. Rekso will then guide us through researching and sketching, before laying down a concept and completing our masterpieces on the outdoor graffiti walls here at Corban Estate.

  • EVERYTHING is provided : ) However, its a great idea to bring among a sketch book or images of inspiration.

What to wear

You might get dirty! Don't wear your Saturday night best outfit! COOL clothing as it maybe HOT.

The Corban Estate Arts Centre is located in Henderson, West Auckland.

We’re home to artist studios, our very own cafe, art classes for adults, youth and children, and an ever-changing programme of exhibitions and events.

Set within park-like grounds amongst historic winery buildings. Open Monday to Saturday, entry is free, everybody’s welcome.

Tori was fantastic! Lily absolutely loved this class and enjoyed all of the insight he shared into the history and techniques involved. I loved seeing how inspired she was, enough so that she worked on sketches in preparation for the next class! We've decided to let her have fun on our back yard fencing when she's ready!

This graffiti class has taught me a lot more than I thought I knew. It has opened another art media to explore and this course has helped me to express my feelings towards graffiti that I’ve wanted to create for a long time.

ADULTS, YOUTH AND CHILDREN’S CLASSES/WORKSHOPS ENROLMENT POLICY

  • A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking.
  • Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
  • Cancellation by participant up until 7 days before the workshop commences results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant within 7 days of the workshop commencement date results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 30% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given.


SPECIAL ENROLMENT POLICY FOR GLASS CASTING WORKSHOPS

  • A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking. Part Payment options are available at time of booking.
  • Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
  • Cancellation by participant up until 10 days before the workshop commences results in a full refund of amount paid MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant within 10 days or on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given. You may nominate someone else to take your place before the class starts.
