Experience a splash of translucent colour mixed with native wood grains. Using grinders, drills, wet and dry sanding, and polishing tools participants will be able to cut out and shape your own pendant from various colours of pre cast resin and wood.


Please bring something for shared Kai.

The Corban Estate Arts Centre is located in Henderson, West Auckland.

We’re home to artist studios, our very own cafe, art classes for adults, youth and children, and an ever-changing programme of exhibitions and events.

Set within park-like grounds amongst historic winery buildings. Open Monday to Saturday, entry is free, everybody’s welcome.

I very much enjoyed making a wood & resin pendant. The wood & resin blanks were pre-made so no delays waiting for resin to cure. They used native matai wood. The colour mixes in the resin were nicely done so each piece looked unique. Good guidance in choosing a shape as well as the freedom to design your own shape. I did a tear drop. The friendly, helpful & experienced tutors, Maha & Laura, provided all the machinery, tools & other materials required to create a beautiful pendant. I highly recommend this workshop.

  • Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
  • Cancellation by participant up until 7 days before the workshop commences results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant within 7 days of the workshop commencement date results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 30% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given.

  • A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking. Part Payment options are available at time of booking.
  • Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
  • Cancellation by participant up until 10 days before the workshop commences results in a full refund of amount paid MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant within 10 days or on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given. You may nominate someone else to take your place before the class starts.
