Get into handmade embroidery! It’s an amazing way to express ideas, tell stories, share, and create unique crafting pieces, and you’ll enjoy learning about and using some traditional and antique stitching techniques.
In this workshop, you will learn and explore how to apply tiny stitches on fabric using different fibres.

  • As an optional extra not compulsory: Bring any fbre you would like to stitch with eg. wool, threads, or anything they think would be suitable for stitching

The Corban Estate Arts Centre is located in Henderson, West Auckland.

We’re home to artist studios, our very own cafe, art classes for adults, youth and children, and an ever-changing programme of exhibitions and events.

Set within park-like grounds amongst historic winery buildings. Open Monday to Saturday, entry is free, everybody’s welcome.

Excellent class. Would highly recommend. Tutor organised knowledgeable passionate and engaged with each student. A lot covered in the 4.1/2 hrs. Learnt a lot.

Well organized, structured and engaging class. Lina is an excellent teacher, and offers clear instructions to the not so crafty skills minded person (cough, me). I would have no hesitation recommending this to anyone to give it a go! Good fun and very interesting.

  • A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking.
  • Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
  • Cancellation by participant up until 7 days before the workshop commences results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant within 7 days of the workshop commencement date results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 30% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given.


SPECIAL ENROLMENT POLICY FOR GLASS CASTING WORKSHOPS

  • A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking. Part Payment options are available at time of booking.
  • Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
  • Cancellation by participant up until 10 days before the workshop commences results in a full refund of amount paid MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant within 10 days or on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given. You may nominate someone else to take your place before the class starts.
