Flying Flock of Birds
Sarah Ormsby
In this workshop, students will create a collection of hanging patterned bird sculptures built from paper.
The workshop will begin with careful study drawings of birds in flight from our forest. Following this, monoprint and relief print techniques will be applied to create dynamic textures and patterns onto paper. Finally, paper construction will turn these printed sheets into a unique and individual collaged flock of the birds of Aotearoa.

Daughter attended this course and absolutely loved it. She was very proud of her work and couldn't wait to show everyone. She explained the process brilliantly. She would definitely do this course again.
