The Corban Estate Arts Centre is located in Henderson, West Auckland.

We’re home to artist studios, our very own cafe, art classes for adults, youth and children, and an ever-changing programme of exhibitions and events.

Set within park-like grounds amongst historic winery buildings. Open Monday to Saturday, entry is free, everybody’s welcome.

Corban art center is an amazing creative space. The Creative Clay Escape with Kairava is magical. You learnt so many techniques in very short time and Kairava is a master teacher who is generous, nurturing and can help you develop the ideas and give you the tools to create the final products. Everyone is in the flow creating in the class and seeing beautiful works from each other being created is inspiring and awesome!

I took Creative Clay Escapade with Kairava. The class was very well organised with clear instructions on what to expect and how to plan each week's projects for the final firing. Kairava was a wonderful teacher--very caring, patient, encouraging and so creative! We learned several different techniques including pinching, coil, slab, and wheel-throwing techniques. We were given freedom to work on whatever we wanted to make, so there was a lot of fun and amazement at what others were working on. I highly recommend this class to anyone who is looking to expand his/her creativity or wants to have a fun evening once a week.

  • A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking.
  • Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
  • Cancellation by participant up until 7 days before the workshop commences results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant within 7 days of the workshop commencement date results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 30% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given.


SPECIAL ENROLMENT POLICY FOR GLASS CASTING WORKSHOPS

  • A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking. Part Payment options are available at time of booking.
  • Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
  • Cancellation by participant up until 10 days before the workshop commences results in a full refund of amount paid MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant within 10 days or on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given. You may nominate someone else to take your place before the class starts.
