The Corban Estate Arts Centre is located in Henderson, West Auckland.

We’re home to artist studios, our very own cafe, art classes for adults, youth and children, and an ever-changing programme of exhibitions and events.

Set within park-like grounds amongst historic winery buildings. Open Monday to Saturday, entry is free, everybody’s welcome.

The Writing Creative Prose course run by Associate Professor Paula Morris was life-changing. My approach to the two books I have on the go has completely changed as a result of attending this course. I have stopped making each project hard work, and instead, I am doing the hard work required to complete them. I learned an enormous amount about the craft of writing, editing, business, and publication. Many thanks to Associate Professor Morris for taking the time to critique everyone's work. The course was terrific value; Corban's Estate needs to charge more.

The week that was!! I thoroughly enjoyed every day of the writing course. So many good ideas were presented, tips given and an overall helpful lessons learned.

Thanks so much. I loved Creative Prose Writing with Paula Morris. She's a generous and knowledgeable teacher, packed so much into the week, all interesting, informative and entertaining. Paula's course was excellent value, well organised and connected seamlessly with other activities at the Arts Centre,

  • A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking.
  • Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
  • Cancellation by participant up until 7 days before the workshop commences results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant within 7 days of the workshop commencement date results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 30% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given.

  • A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking. Part Payment options are available at time of booking.
  • Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
  • Cancellation by participant up until 10 days before the workshop commences results in a full refund of amount paid MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
  • Cancellation by participant within 10 days or on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given. You may nominate someone else to take your place before the class starts.
